The American College of Sports Medicine just released their annual list of America's Fittest Cities, with Washington, D.C. taking top honors. The rankings, based on data from organizations such as the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the CDC, ranked cities based on criteria like the number of swimming pools and farmers' markets per capita, the percentage of people who walk or bike to work and the percentage of people who are obese. Along with our nation's capital, Minneapolis-St.Paul, Denver, Boston, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, San Diego, Austin and Virginia Beach rounded out the top ten. Detroit and Oklahoma City ranked among the least fit cities on the list.
