HIV testing for all? That’s what the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force is pushing for.

Previously, only high-risk individuals were encouraged to get HIV-tested, but new guidelines recommend that all individuals between the ages of 15 and 65 receive the test. Up to 25% of the people living with the HIV virus are unaware they have it, studies show. So it’s important to know your status. After all, better safe than sorry.
