Caprese BLT Sandwich
- Yield: 1 pieces
- 1slice whole-wheat bread
- Pesto Mayo Spread (Mix 1 tsp of pesto with 2 tbsp of mayo)
- Green-leaf lettuce
- 1slice buffalo mozzarella cheese
- tomato slices
- 2slices all-natural cooked bacon (can substitute turkey or vegan bacon, if desired)
- Toast your bread (if preferable) then slice in half.
- Spread side of the bread with pesto mayonnaise.
- Layer on the lettuce, mozzarella, tomato and bacon.
- Close sandwich and use a food pick or toothpick to secure (optional).
