Caramelized Sweet and Spicy Party Nuts

Ingredients
- 1teaspoon canola or olive oil
- 2cups shelled walnuts
- 1tablespoon light brown sugar
- 1/2teaspoon cinnamon
- 1pinch cayenne pepper
- 1/2teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions

Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add walnuts, sugar, cinnamon, cayenne and salt. Saute nuts 5 to 6 minutes until they smell fragrant, appear glossy and the sugar melts. Remove nuts from pan to a plate; let cool. Serve warm or at room temperature.
