Spicy Walnut Bean Dip

Ingredients

1-- 15 ounce-can black beans, rinsed and drained
1-- 7 ounce-can whole green chilies
1/2cup walnuts, toasted
2-3-- cloves garlic
2tablespoons tomato ketchup
1tablespoon ground cumin
1/2teaspoon Tabasco sauce (or your favorite hot pepper sauce
3-1/8teaspoon Kosher salt
1-9/16teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper
-- Freshly chopped cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In the bowl of a food processor, combine the beans, chilies, walnuts, garlic, ketchup, cumin, and Tabasco sauce; process until smooth. Season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  2. Garnish with the cilantro and serve immediately with fresh vegetables
