Health philosophy: "I believe in eating whole, fresh foods – I try to stay away from anything white, processed or with a label. That kind of clean eating, combined with daily exercising, is how I lost 115 pounds.”                                               

Favorite workout: He calls running “my love and my mediation.”                                                               

Favorite healthy dish: Steel-cut oatmeal with banana for breakfast; chopped salads packed with lean proteins such as grilled salmon, chicken breast, shrimp or beef tenderloin, laid over a bed of arugula lettuce and finished with lemon, balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil.              

Secret weapon: Another sleep fan! Smith aims for eight hours every night, and considers a nap a treat.
