Giuliana and Bill Rancic have never been shy about sharing the details of their marriage as stars of the Style Network’s reality show, Giuliana & Bill. The couple’s intimate struggle with infertility has been a major storyline on the show, now in its sixth season. Then last October, Giuliana, the co-host of E! News, and entrepreneur Bill, winner of the first season of The Apprentice, had the shock of their lives: Giuliana was diagnosed with breast cancer. After a double mastectomy, followed by radiation therapy and reconstructive surgery, Giuliana is now cancer-free, and the couple welcomed a son, Edward Duke Rancic, in August, with the help of a gestational surrogate. To mark October’s Breast Cancer Awareness month—and the one-year anniversary of Giuliana’s diagnosis—we checked in with the couple for his and hers perspectives on Giuliana’s treatment and recovery.
