Scientists from the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia report that the presence of a certain type of ovarian cyst may be an early warning sign of ovarian cancer, a notoriously hard-to-diagnose disease. What’s more, the cyst–called an inclusion cyst–grows from a unique legion inside the ovary, meaning there’s potential for even earlier detection of the cancer.
