Does Vinegar Burn Fat?

Drinking vinegar to help you lose weight may sound like a fat-burning fad, but a study from Japan suggests the idea may have merit. When researchers fed mice a high-fat diet along with vinegar, the rodents developed ten percent less fat than mice that had water with their high-cal meals. Based on previous research, the experts think adding half an ounce of vinegar per day to your diet may help you drop pounds (the acetic acid in vinegar seems to help by activating fat-burning enzymes in the body, they say).
