Try these three no-sweat changes to help you drop pounds:

1. Chill out. Stress increases the circulation of the hormone ghrelin, which can trigger hunger. To calm down, try taking three slow deep breaths as you imagine yourself inhaling calm and exhaling anxiety, suggests Michelle May, author of Eat What You Love, Love What You Eat.

2. Get flexible. Recent research suggests that practicing yoga regularly could lead to being a more "mindful" eater, which could boost weight-loss efforts.

3. Stay on your feet. The average person burns 100 calories per hour sitting and 140 per hour standing. By getting off your duff 2 additional hours a day, you could drop an extra 5 pounds over the year.
