You may have heard that the best diet for your heart is a Mediterranean-inspired plan that emphasizes fish and healthy oils and cuts back on meat and dairy. Now new research shows that this may also be the best diet for your brain. A study just published in Neurology, the medical journal of the American Academy of Neurology, concluded that people who ate like the Greeks were 19 percent less likely to have memory problems than other people their age. The study was based on data collected from 17,478 men and women with an average age of 64.
