According to one recent study, yoga may do more than stretch your muscles: It could help you lose weight. Researchers in Seattle found that of 300 fit and healthy people they surveyed, those who did yoga tended to have a lower body mass index (BMI) than the rest of the group — lower even than the non-yogis who exercised at least 90 minutes per week. Experts think those who practice yoga regularly are "mindful eaters," meaning they're more likely to eat only when they're hungry.
