Asian Guacamole

Ingredients

2-- avocados, peeled, pitted, and cubed
1small sweet onion, such as Maui or Vidalia, finely chopped
3tablespoons fresh lime juice
3tablespoons sake or rice wine vinegar
1tablespoon thinly sliced green onion
1tablespoon finely chopped fresh cilantro
1tablespoon grated fresh ginger
1/2teaspoon Thai chili oil or Thai chili paste

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mash gently enough to mix, keeping avocados chunky. Serve in a bowl with chips or tortillas. Makes about 4 cups.
