Caprese BLT Sandwich

Caprese BLT Sandwich recipe.
  • Yield: 1 pieces


1slice whole-wheat bread
Pesto Mayo Spread (Mix 1 tsp of pesto with 2 tbsp of mayo)
Green-leaf lettuce
1slice buffalo mozzarella cheese
tomato slices
2slices all-natural cooked bacon (can substitute turkey or vegan bacon, if desired)


  1. Toast your bread (if preferable) then slice in half.
  2. Spread side of the bread with pesto mayonnaise.
  3. Layer on the lettuce, mozzarella, tomato and bacon.
  4. Close sandwich and use a food pick or toothpick to secure (optional).
