Cranberry Apple Chutney

  • Yield: 6 to 8 servings


1pound fresh cranberries
2medium apples, such as Granny Smith or Gala, diced
1/2cup apple or cranberry juice
1/2cup light brown sugar
1/4cup raisins
1/2teaspoon cinnamon
1/4teaspoon ground cloves


  1. Place all ingredients in a nonreactive saucepan over high heat. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes or until cranberries pop open and mixture thickens. Serve warm.
