Green Olive Walnut Spread

Because this spread is so rich, it's best with low-fat crackers. Or, use as a condiment for grilled meats and seafood.

Ingredients

2-- garlic cloves
1cup halved green olives
4-- green onions, chopped
1/4cup extra-virgin olive oil
1/2cup chopped parsley
1cup walnuts
dash crushed red pepper flakes
2-3tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Place garlic in food processor; pulse until chopped. Add remaining ingredients and pulse until coarsely chopped.
  2. Serve with wheat thins or water crackers.
