Honeyed Soynuts

Due to the honey, these sweet nut clusters are a bit sticky. As a result, they’re best stored in the refrigerator.


1/4cup honey
2tablespoons butter
2cups soynuts (homemade or store-bought)
1cup turbinado sugar


  1. Combine honey and butter, bring to a boil. Add soynuts. Reduce heat to low and cook 2 minutes. Spread mixture on a baking sheet; cool. Break into chunks; toss with turbinado sugar to coat each chunk. Let dry completely before placing in airtight container. Makes 2 cups.

Note: To make soynuts,

spread 1 (or 2) cup of beans in a single layer on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt. Bake at 350F, stirring after 15 minutes until golden brown and crunchy. The total time will vary depending on the moisture, but should take about 25 minutes. Watch carefully when the beans are close to being done.
