kale and potato pie
- Yield: 6 servings
Ingredients
- 1tablespoon olive oil
- .5-- chopped onion
- 1units clove chopped garlic
- 1-- grated potato
- 1-- grated sweet potato
- 1dash bunch kale-- chopped
- 1pinch pepper
- 1pinch salt
- .5cup any grated cheese
- 1piece bread or pizza dough
- 1/4cup butter
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
- Saute the onions. Add the grated potatoes and kale,
- Divide up the dough into balls about the size of an ice cream scoop and roll them out like pizzas, two for each pie.
- Scoop filling on the bottom shell, cover with cheese and another shell and pinch the edges together.
- Spread melted butter (or egg, or water) over the shell (optional) and bake till they are brown.
- They are good warm or cold. They pack well as a sandwich.
