Orange Rice Pudding with Golden Raisins

  • Yield: 8 servings


4cups 2% reduced-fat milk
1/2cup sugar
1/2cup uncooked medium-grain rice
1/3cup golden raisins
1teaspoon grated orange rind
1/2teaspoon ground nutmeg


  1. Combine milk, sugar and rice in a medium slow cooker. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, on high for 3 to 3 1/2 hours or until creamy. Pudding will thicken as it cools.
  2. Stir in raisins and orange rind.
  3. Before serving, sprinkle with a dusting of nutmeg.
