Raisin Chipotle Grilling Sauce

Ingredients
- 1cup prepared barbecue sauce
- 1 1/2cups California raisins
- 1cup husked, rinsed and chopped tomatillos
- 1/2cup lime juice
- 1/2cup water
- 1/3cup chopped onions
- 1/4teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 to 2-- chipotle chiles, canned in adobo sauce, minced, and sauce to taste
Instructions
- Combine ingredients in a small saucepan; cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Let cool, then puree in a blender or food processor. Makes about 3 cups.
