Spicy Salmon

Plus, salmon contains a bevy of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin D, vitamin A and selenium, a nutrient associated with decreased joint inflammation.


1pound of salmon filets
4cloves garlic, crushed
1/4teaspoon red pepper flakes
2tablespoons olive oil
juice from half a lemon


  1. Whisk together garlic, olive oil, lemon juice and red pepper flakes. Spread over salmon and marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Bake 20 minutes at 450 degrees, or until it flakes easily.
