The honey adds a nice sweetness to the fresh tangerines. If you have very sweet tangerines you can decrease the amount of honey. You can easily double this recipe. Use orange juice in place of tangerine juice, if desired.
Ingredients
- 2cups fresh orange, tangerine juice or grapefruit juice
- 1/4cup honey
- 1/4cup fresh lime juice
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl and whisk to blend well. Chill well. 2. Pour into the canister of an ice-cream freezer; freeze according to manufacturer's instructions (or for granita, pour mixture into a 9-by-9-inch pan, and freeze 8 hours, scraping occasionally with a fork). Spoon into a freezer-safe container; cover and freeze 1 hour or until firm.
