Watermelon Ginger Freezer Sorbet

Ingredients
- 4cups seedless watermelon, cut into chunks
- 3/4cup sugar
- 1tablespoon minced peeled ginger root
- 1tablespoon lime juice
- 3/4cup water, apple juice, ginger ale or white grape juice
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat and simmer 4 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool. In a blender or food processor fitted with the metal blade, puree leaving a few pieces (it should not be completely pureed).
- Transfer mixture into a metal bowl and freeze about 1 hour until semi-solid. Mix with a wire whisk until smooth. Return to freezer another 30 minutes. Serve in chilled bowls or glasses.
